They are currently looking for :

Health and Safety Manager

Requirements :

• Male, age 35-45 years old
• Graduate, preferably in mining, science or engineering discipline
• 10 years experience of HSE management in the industrial sector
• Excellent communication skills in rolling out all Group Standards, Advisories and Guidelines at all operational Mining sites.
• Extensive knowledge of HSMS and Competency in advising on HS related issues
• Monitor the implementation of mechanical construction work packages and control the process against time, cost, scope changes, quality and safety parameters agreed with contractors.
• Competency in leading a team in a culturally diverse environment recognizing sensitivities and opportunities and confidence to resist compromise on safety
• Undergone training in HS management or OSHAS 18001 or ISO 14001
• Project management capability to deliver the project within the planned and agreed cost, quality, and time whilst meeting customer needs
• Possess a thorough understanding of safety and environmental management systems and processes, risk analysis techniques and local government mining regulations.
• Ready to be placed all around Indonesia

Scope of Job :

People Search

• Coordinate all HS activities at all operational sites to ensure the creation of accident free workplace through the mobilization of safe behavior of all workers and visitors in an excellent safety culture
• Maintain HS performance record of the company and provides HS data as required by Group and managing partner
• Provide expert advice and support to the Ex-Com, Plant Management and Terminal Operations Teams
• Provides guidance and training to all HS personnel to ensure effective management of manufacturing operations and handling of products
• Make site visits to plant, quarry and terminals for monitoring and implementation of HSMS
• Coordinate yearly “Safety Month” observation at all sites setting programs and ensure implementation
• Review BU  HS Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) and report the reviewed plan to the regional HS Director on monthly basis
• Make corporate incidents tracking, update safety milestone, and facilitate celebration of achievements involving employees and contractors’ personnel
• Manage HS stakeholders’ relations and promote Company’s image of having the highest HS Standard
• Heavy travel between the Head office and Mining site
• Reporting to Managing Director (Expatriate)
